As the Seattle Seahawks were looking to repeat as Super Bowl champions, the country was rocked by the deaths of Michael Brown Jr., Tamir Rice and Eric Garner at the hands of police in their respective hometowns of Ferguson, Cleveland and Staten Island. Recognizing their platform as Super Bowl XLVIII champions, the team participated in extensive dialogue on how they could use their voices as advocates for change.
